Don't know what happened to my first blog on this. I believe I commented on the usefulness to the new Canadians, with forms readily available and information on becoming citizens. I use Delicious often.
I went back to my blogs and didn't find the original one either.

Library thing
Took the tour. Looks like an extremely useful site for a lot of people I know. Personally I wouldn't be using it at this stage of the game as I am pairing down my home collection, but I sure would have used it when my kids were small.
I plan on visiting this site again as I think I would like to compair notes on a few titles for my book club. I always like to see what others think about the titles we are reading
Take care

spent the morning checking out these calendar sites. Google doc must have been exceptionaly busy as it took hours to finally get it to open.
To be honest I cannot see me using any of these features. I am not tied to a computer like a lot of people these days, and honestly I don't feel the need to keep that close of tabs on everyone and my schedule.
I have my calendar. I keep it up to date and it is with me wherever I go. I don't have to start up a computer. When I need to get in touch with others it is easy as pie. So many applications seem to overlap. Facebook, twitter, and google calendar. I probably will never use this one.

So this week it is Flickr and youtube.
I haven't played with Flikr before, so I took the tour .I may just give it a try as I have just purchased a new camera, and have a couple of weddings coming up.
The youtube site, well who hasn't explored the silliness of the site? Lots to keep you in stitches .
I must say that I probably won't use this site much, but my youngest son is in broadcasting and sometimes his films are posted so I will keep up with that.
Thats all folks

Coconut Bay
Just got off the internet Google blogs to view what others have to say about this resort in St. Lucia. My second oldest son is being married on the beach there in Feb. and I thought this was a good way to examine other people's experiences.
Some great pics, and rave reviews. Nothing negative was mentioned so I wondered if perhaps there might be some editing going on. Further inspection suspects, no.
I use Google maps constantly when venturing into unknown territory, and find that it helps when spelling issues arise(especially for new groups).
The only dislike that I have with Google is that even when narrowing a search down, there are still a lot of hits to wade through. Don't always have the time.
